booking your boudoir session

This is how Second Glance photography works:

• Once your shoot is booked, we may schedule a complimentary (no cost) consultation. This allows us to better plan your shoot by reviewing examples of the types of images you are seeking as well as any wardrobe items that you wish to use. This typically only takes 15-30 minutes, and also allows you to see the studio and understand how your photography session will work.
• Studio time is not reserved until the Session has been paid.
• On the day of the shoot you arrive at the scheduled time and the makeup artist (if you elected to use one) will prepare you for your photographs. Please note that we strongly recommend the use of a qualified makeup artist, as makeup for photography is very different from normal day-to-day makeup.
• Throughout the session we will show you your images so that you can verify that we are capturing exactly what you desire. Adjustments may be made immediately if needed.
• Upon completion of your session we process and edit the images for your review, saving you the time of having to sort through blinks, etc. You'll see only the very best images. You may then schedule a time to come back in to the studio to review your images with us. This viewing session normally takes approximately 30 minutes, and is normally the preferred option for those selecting multiple images for albums or enlargements. Should you need additional time you may reserve studio time at a 50% discount.
• Alternately we can upload your images to a private web gallery for your review. This is normally easiest for those with difficult work schedules or other availability issues - you view your images at your convenience. This is a favorite option for those only wanting a single image or two.
• Orders for albums, prints or digital images may be made during the viewing session or may be ordered online if reviewing a private web gallery. Images are purchased prior to retouching and production.
• Retouched images are typically delivered in 3-5 business days. Albums may take slightly longer depending on current production workload and the availability of selected materials.
